Candles are a Must for any Wedding, both Reception and Ceremony
Candle favors can be very elegant or cute in design. Elegant candle wedding favors are normally white, ivory or beige in color and elaborately decorated with motifs of vines, hearts, rings, petals or flowers like lilies, orchids, roses and tulips. Wedding Decorations can be on the candles themselves or their holders.
For a classy touch, votives are often used to double up both as the candle holder and its wrap. Votives are the tumbler-like casings of candles which can be beautifully decorated, made of clear or frosted glass and may be clear or colored, depending on your tastes. More elegant candle wedding favors often use frosted white votives which are designed in white or silver. If you have picked a specific floral design on your votives, make sure your candle’s scent matches it. For instance, a design of a rose should have a candle in a scent that is close to the rose. As this may be difficult to carry out successfully, you may want to choose other types of designs which will not dictate the scent of your candle.
Sometimes, a fashionable candle holder will mean you can have plain candles and they will still look tasteful. If you have decided to pick an elaborately designed candle holder in place of an elaborately designed candle, it is best to pick holders that are a generic size. Holders that are either too big or too small will be a problem for you to find matching candles. Furthermore, they may be of no use to anyone after the wedding.
